This song was written for a tiny little show I SM’d as part of a dark nights series on the set of another show. The little project had 5 performances and I believe I was paid all of $75, but I made some of my bestest friends on it. In that production the song was sung by Whit Baldwin, my handsome little scene stealer in the Encore’s MERRILY (you may remember him as the Rock Musician who meets Mary on the train and has a 2 verse character arc in “Opening Doors”). Here it’s sung by Charlie Brady, who is also among my favorite earthlings (and whom I ran into when I was at MERRILY)
