I hasten to add that I have never heard or seen Heidi Blickenstaff be anything less than committed, connected, and clear in every sense of the word. Why isn’t she in everything? I would see her in just about any musical on Broadway. Leap of Faith? Fuck yeah. Once? Fuck, I bet she could cover Cristian Milioti AND Anne L Nathan. Or at the very least I would feel like I was getting my money’s worth watching her try and knowing she would be musically flawless. Newsies? Who’s the King of New York? Evita, Superstar, Nice Work…yup, yes, and uh-huh.

Recent addition to Team Xtina Chris Mann (“the opera guy”) sang on the fabulously talented (and generally fabulous) Michael Kooman (music) and Chris Dimond (words). The whole album is pretty great (and on Spotify as well as iTunes et al).
Imma re-schill this bidness because Chris Mann competed last night in the “live shows” apparently (I haven’t watched), and because I’ve been obsessing with the song/album a lot in the 2 months since I first shared this song.
