A little tour of my own little corner at work
In which I mention that I’m volunteering for a PBS auction tonight (from 7-11pm) and that you may catch a brief glimpse of me looking awkward or having to pee if you watch the live stream on WVIZ or at IdeaCenter.org
So…when I was 3.5 my mom and I made a videotape of me singing the (pre-Little Mermaid) Disney Songbook. And now it’s on YouTube.
Today is my friend Susan’s Birthday. I know her through a mutual friend and most of my entire relationship with Susan rests on the fact that for about 2 years I would drunk dial her and sing show tunes every now and then (at our mutual friend’s urging). Nowadays I just lip sync something on her birthday and call it a year. And I thought I’d put it up here, at least for a little while, because why not?
Day 6, list of the 5 favorite things you own.
I went rogue and instead talked about things I used to own until my mom’s 2nd husband threw them away. I had a lot of editing to do—and none of it gracefully executed, I’m afraid—to keep this video on topic. It’s just one of those topics I could talk forever/write a memoir movie please god not a one man show musical about.
And then there’s my dad’s 2nd wife…
Oh hai. This is Day 1 of the 30 Day Video Challenge. “Introduce Yourself”
by day 30 I’ll be a regular Andy Cohen…
New video camera app means needless video of me doing nothing in my room which is so messy. The app, btdubs, is called “HT Video Recorder”, is currently free. One of the many fun thing I’ve found via App Deals, which basically lets you go on a free shopping spree everyday. You then immediately delete almost everything, though some real gems slip through. Like this camera app, or the totally addictive (and yes, I did read that article in the Times about “addictive” iPhone games) Twist Carnival (which is now back to $0.99, but was totes free when I got it. boo ya!).
Somehow this became a post about iPhone apps? IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT ME.
